Gaylynn Goodlett Reiter, 58, beloved wife, sister, cousin, and aunt, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2022. She fought a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis which she persevered through even as it took her mobility and led to the complications that brought about her passing. Gaylynn was born in Dallas, Texas, on June 5, 1963, to parents Steve Goodlett and Patsy Armor Goodlett. She graduated from Bryan Adams High School in Dallas and Texas Women's University with a BA in Art. On December 1, 2000, Gaylynn married Monty Reiter in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. They lived in Frisco, Texas where she worked in the Medical and Insurance Industries. Gaylynn was a gifted artist and decorator who also loved entertaining those around her when given the chance. As a child, Gaylynn took tap, ballet, and baton lessons with her sister, Ann. She sang in the Children's Choir of Great Dallas and volunteered to be the Easter Bunny to entertain children at the local mall or park. She loved her children (two cats), the outdoors, the ocean, and classic Corvettes. Growing up, Gaylynn liked playing more with Matchbox™ cars than she did with dolls. Her first car was a red Camaro that she loved and used to travel back and forth to school in. Gaylynn traveled to Europe during high school summer break where she was able to see Pope John Paul II in St. Peters Square. Gaylynn never met a stranger and could start a conversation with anyone at an event or grocery store. She always had a beautiful smile and personality to brighten your day. Gaylynn is preceded in death by her mother: Patsy Goodlett; mother and father in-law: Marie and Buddy Reiter; sisters-in law: Janell Kupper and Doris Grewing; aunt: Nancy Neeld with husband Colonel Bobby Gene Neeld; and uncle: James Harry Armor Jr. Gaylynn is survived by her beloved husband Monty Reiter; father: Steve Goodlett; sister: Ann Cossum with husband David and daughter Andrea; sisters-in-law: Margie Sicking and Jeanette Reiter; brothers-in-law: Johnny Reiter, Jimmy Kupper and Henry Grewing Jr.; cousins: Stephanie Winkler with husband Bruce and Robert Armor and many nieces and nephews.
