Obituary

Gerald H. Green Jr., 61, of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026.

Gerald was a man who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Known for his friendly spirit, strong work ethic, and unforgettable laugh, he built not just a career, but a reputation that spanned over four decades. Many knew him as "the window tint guy," a title he carried with pride through 43 years of dedicated work. In 2018, he founded Precision Glass Tinting with his daughter Genae, where he continued to serve his community with skill, honesty, and integrity.

Outside of work, Gerald knew how to enjoy life in his own way. He loved listening to country music, watching hockey, and liked to fire one up with friends, taking time to relax and unwind. More than anything, he cherished the time he spent with his wife, finding comfort and joy simply being by her side. He lived with a laid-back mindset, often reminding those around him to "play it by ear," a phrase that reflected his easygoing nature and approach to life.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife, Georgia Green; his children, Gerad Green, Gerame Green, and Genae Green; like his own children, Tabitha Cortez, Britnie Bowden; his grandchildren, Jude Green, Alyssia Essary, McKinley Moore, and Mason Neal; and his great-grandchild, Irelynn De La Rosa.

Gerald will be remembered not only for what he did, but for who he was: a hardworking man with a big heart, a sharp sense of humor, and a presence that made people feel at ease. His legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched, both personally and professionally.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
