Gerald C. "Jerry" Whitaker passed away peacefully on March 22, 2022. He was born on June 23, 1944 in Colorado City, TX to the late Wilbur and Margaret Whitaker. He married Jimmie Harris on December 5, 1964 in Dallas, TX. Jerry enjoyed many activities including fishing, golfing, grandson Zackary and his cat Lily. Cherishing his memory are his wife of nearly 58 years, Jimmie R. Whitaker; grandson, Zackary A. Bonzo; brothers, Russell "Rusty" Whitaker and Richard "Rick" Whitaker; 2 nieces and 2 nephews; numerous other extended family and friends. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey H.
