Obituary

Glen Reznicek was born on December 14, 1948 to Louis and Iris Grissom Reznicek. He passed away on October 25, 2021. Glen grew up in Dallas, Texas with his brother Gary. He graduated from W.W. Samuel High School and joined the Air Force. After serving his tour of duty, he returned to Dallas and went to work for Sears & Roebuck. Several years later he started his own HVAC service business. He served his many clients throughout the DFW metroplex for 40 years before retiring. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed grilling outside where he got lots of help from his Great Pyrenees Maggie Mae and Clifford. He loved to travel and spend time with friends. He enjoyed having lunch with his friend Al and the quilt ladies. He volunteered for the Guild of Dallas at the annual Guild Quilt Show and was the official hand stamper. He was a devoted and loving husband, a patient and understanding father and grandfather. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of almost 25 years, Ann Reznicek of Rowlett; son Brian Reznicek and wife Nancy of Crandall; daughter Mindy Batchelor and husband Jimmy of Quinlan; step-son Derek Dilts and wife Gwen of McKinney; brother Gary Reznicek and wife Sherry of Combine; grandchildren Phoenix, & Addison Reznicek, and Maddox & Berkley Dilts; many extended family and dear friends. Funeral will be held at 11:30 on November 15, 2021 at DFW National Cemetery.
