Obituary

In the quiet early morning hours of Monday February 12, 2018, our beloved Gloria Jean Anderson died peacefully following her courageous stand against a lengthy period of illness. Gloria was born on January 24, 1945 in Dallas, TX, the fifth child and third daughter of Brazier Hugh and Rheba Clare, now deceased. Growing up in a large and dynamic family, she set her own path of life, yet always unselfishly offered all she could give to help anyone and everyone in times of need. Christmas time was especially important to Gloria, evidenced by her impressive collection of Hallmark ornaments. She enjoyed selecting just the right ones to give as gifts to loved ones. Two years after graduating from Bryan Adams High School, she married Harold Eugene Anderson now deceased and had two beautiful daughters, Stephanie and Tracey. She made a career in insurance working 9 years for Travelers Insurance and the past 22 years as an underwriter for Blue Cross Blue Shield. In addition to her parents Brazier and Rheba Clare, Gloria was preceded in death by her loving husband Harold. She is survived by her precious daughters Stephanie and Tracey; forever remembered by her sisters Pat Morris-Evans, Carole Thomas and Dorothy Burke; her brothers Jim, Richard, John and Robert Clare and Harold's sisters Cathy Apple and Fran Donaldson as well as numerous nieces and nephews. May the Heavenly doors of heaven give you peace, love and happiness. Rest in peace my Beautiful Mom, Wife, Sister and Aunt. It's not goodbye but see you later. WE LOVE YOU!
