"Louie" Gonzales passed on March 28, 2014 from liver complications. He was born in Dallas, TX on November 14, 1968 to parents "Lou" and Irma Gonzales. He was a loving, devoted husband to Patricia Gonzales for 30 years bearing two beautiful children Jovan and Joseph Gonzales. Louie is survived by his wife, Patricia "Patti" Gonzales; both children; both parents; one grandparent, Rosa Gonzales; and 4 siblings, Bobby, Rudy, Ben, and Soly Gonzales. Louie was known for his vivacious, spirited, happy-go-lucky nature. Always the one to clown, there was never a dull moment in his presence as he made sure to be the life of the party. Louie was always one to help people less fortunate in any way, and he always made sure to care for those in pain in any way he could. Louie shared a love of cars with both sons and his father, having worked with cars of all types for many years. If someone were looking for him, the first place to check was the garage. Louie loved to cook for the family and was "famous" for his menudo; he even pursued education as a chef. His love of life extended to pursuing an acting career, something most people cannot say they have done. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Hospice of East Texas.
