Rogene Greer, age 79 of Dallas, TX, passed unexpectedly and abruptly from flu and pneumonia on Dec. 27th. She is survived by daughters Constance Greer, Kathryn Shipman, son Scott Greer, brother James Hamm, grandchildren Heather Black, Ben and Ally Shipman, stepchildren Merrin James, Lael, Lorin & Lane McWilliams. Born Rogene Theodora Hamm in Jamestown, ND June 13, 1934, married Conrad Greer in 1953, moved to California where she raised her children. Arrived in Fort Worth 1978, divorced 1983. On to Denton at age 54 where she earned a BA from North Texas State and in 1987 married Joe McWilliams (d.1990). Last residing in Dallas. She was dearly beloved by her family and friends. Always a shining example of kindness and caring, leading a very selfless life, far more concerned with others then herself. Rogene was the epitome of elegance and grace with a hunger to learn and experience the new. She will be forever in our hearts and deeply missed by all who knew her. May God bless her soul.
