On Monday, July 4, 2022, Gregory Thomas Alexander passed away at the age of 69 surrounded by his children. Greg was born on November 10, 1952 in Levelland, Texas to Tom Alexander and Betty Jean Griffice. He graduated from Levelland High School in 1971 and then graduated from Texas State University with a degree in accounting in 1976. He was also a member of Pi Kappa Alpha. After graduation from college, Greg worked as a Bank Examiner for Directors Examination Company, and then moved to Dallas where he obtained his C.P.A and went to work in the tax department for Peat Marwick Mitchell. He later worked until his retirement with Thomas O. Bailey, CPA. He was an avid sports fan, history buff and loved movies. He was known for his cooking and having a good joke ready at all times. Greg is survived by his loving children, Aimee Alexander Harwood, Austin Bennett Alexander, and Zachary Thomas Alexander; grandchildren, Knox Christopher Harwood, and Quinn Luzane Harwood; brother, Steve Alexander and wife Jan; nephews, Craig Alexander and Eric Alexander; niece, Dr. Leigh Alexander Giammarco.
