John Jeffery Guy, a resident of Dallas for forty-three years, passed away on October 25, 2020 after a short illness from COVID-19. He was 71. He was born to parents Joseph Hobson Guy and Dolores W. Guy of Carson City, MI. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Everett. He is survived by his husband/partner of 42 years, James W. Hall, of Dallas; a brother, Joseph H. Guy, Jr. (Kay) of Homer, MI; a nephew, Joseph H. Guy, III (Rachelle) of Belmont, MI; nieces Laura Miller(John) of Marshall, MI , and Andrea Green (Matthew) of Kissimee FL.; and a cousin, Julie Elenbaas (John) of Stanwood, MI. John was recognized for his extensive knowledge in the decorative arts field. He worked for the Ivy House in Dallas for 30 years. John also enjoyed a hobby of collecting miniatures. More than anything else, John will be remembered as a long-term and loving caregiver to James.
