HALBROOKS, DIANA Age 65, of Dallas, passed away July 1, 2014 of natural causes following a brief illness. Diana was born to Leo Douglas Blair and Betty McNeely Blair. She graduated from Wood-row Wilson HS and received her degree from SMU. She married Knick Halbrooks on March 7, 1970. She found her calling as a nurse, working in hospice and later as a case coordinator. She felt blessed to participate in missionary work with her late husband, Knick. A kind-hearted, caring, and generous mother with a creative spirit, she was proud of and adored her family. Her love and dedication to her family will be cherished forever. Diana is survived by her mother Betty and mother-in-law Virjean Halbrooks; son Jeremy with his wife Eileen and grandchildren Ashley, Natalie, Travis, and Emily; her daughter Courtney, and her son Toby. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Knick, father Doug, and brother Gary. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 8 at 11:30 am at Prestonwood Baptist Church Dallas Campus in the Prayer Chapel on the north side, 12123 Hillcrest Rd, Dallas, TX 75230; Rev.
