Sara Jane Hall passed away July 22, 2014 at her home in Dallas, Texas. Sara was born to the late Annie Ruth and Carl H. Craig on August 5, 1933 in Brookhaven, Mississippi. She attended Mississippi State College for Women and the University of Southern Mississippi where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. On August 28th, 1953 Sara married Syd Hall and together they raised two children. He preceded her in death earlier this year after 60 years of marriage. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Carl Craig and her sister Virginia Wallette. Sara is survived by her daughter Sylvia Spangler (Joe Fierros) of Dallas, Texas; son Sydnor Hall of San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren Justin Spangler, Jennifer Spangler, Gregory Hall, Sara Turnage (Jordan); great grandson Logan Turnage, and several nieces and nephews. Sara was quite the lady and so many things to so many people. She had an unwavering faith and was a member of the Joy Sunday School class at St. Andrews United Methodist Church. A memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 28th at 1:00 PM in the Sanctuary at St. Andrew United Methodist Church. The Church is located at 5801 W. Plano Parkway, Plano, TX 75093. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Andrews United Methodist Church or a charity of you choice.
