George Davis Hanna, 82, passed away on Dec 13, 2014. He was born near Meridian TX to Jeff M Hanna and Alice Grace Sidall and a number of siblings, Clovis, Vera, J. Frank, Johnnie, Joe, and Nora. He moved to the DFW area as a young man. He served in the US Army during the Korean conflct. Afterward, he attended college on the GI bill and graduated from SMU with a BSEE. He worked as an principal electrical engineer for Continental Electronics which later became Varian Associates. He retired in his mid fifties, purchased 20 acres in Kaufman county, and played gentleman rancher for several years. He is survived by his children Lisa Hanna and Terry Hanna, sister Johnnie Alice Taylor, and numerous nieces and nephews.
