Hardison, Muriel F "Merle", age 72, of Plano, passed away on February 18, 2013. Merle was born on November 24, 1940, in Roanoke, VA, to the late De Lois Van Doren and Willie Beatrice Ferguson. Merle is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard L Hardison of Plano; her daughter, Leigh Hardison of Plano; her son, Andy Hardison, his wife Beth, and their two children, Alicia and Alex, of Camden, NY; her sister, Bobi Perry of Savannah, GA; her brother, Steve Ferguson of Atlanta, GA; and beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. Merle was preceded in death by her brother, Marvin Ferguson of Savannah, GA. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Church of the Holy Communion in Dallas. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Church of the Holy Communion.
