Harold "Paul" Harris was called to his heavenly home on June 8, 2023. He passed away peacefully at the age of 87 in his home in Bedford, TX, surrounded by his wife and kids. Paul was born to the late Hillard and Veda Harris in Arlington, TX, on September 11, 1935. He graduated from Arlington High School, joined the Army, and later obtained a BBA from Texas Christian University. He served in the U.S. Army for 2 years, Rank Specialist E-4, beginning July 1957 through July 1959 and then served in the Reserves until January 1962. After the Army, Paul got a job at Bell Helicopter where he worked in several departments and was Manager of Materiel when he retired December 31, 1999, after 40 years of service. Paul led a very active life. Some of his most loved activities included scuba diving, bicycling, traveling, and photography. Above all, he loved his family. Paul is survived by his wife, Lynne; son Paul Harris and wife Teresa; daughter Whitney Sutton and husband Steve; son Phillip Harris and wife Gina; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Paul's final resting place will be at the DFW National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to your favorite charity.
