Hazelbaker, Richard (Dick) Wayne Born in Kansas City, Missouri, March 29th, 1936. Passed away October 14th in Dallas, Texas at the age of 81 years. He graduated from Northeast High School in Kansas City, Missouri in 1954. His entire business career was spent in the automotive and related industries. He thoroughly loved riding his motorcycle throughout the Hill Country near Georgetown, Texas where he lived in his early retirement years. He moved back to the Dallas area in 2006 to be closer to family, and continued to ride in the surrounding northern counties. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Robert Wells Hazelbaker and his younger sister, Marilyn Kimrey. He is survived by wife Claire Etta (Tedda) of 55 years, and sons Curtis (Melody) and Doug (Cindy). He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren "The Lights of His Life", Madison, Cory, Caroline and Kyle of whom he was extremely proud, and spent many fun and memorable times with them. He is also survived by his sister, Barbara Rose Greeley, sister-in-law Kay Hazelbaker and a large extended family. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 25th at 11:00 am at Grace Avenue United Methodist Church, 3521 Main Street, Frisco, Texas 75034. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Grace Avenue United Methodist Church, or to a charity of your choice.
