Jeffrey Head, born to Charles L. and Peggy Hodges Head October 13, 1964, left this world for a better place Nov. 6. He was a 1983 graduate of Hillcrest High School and attended Richland and El Centro Community Colleges. He was an accomplished classical guiartist, flutist, and guitar instructor. He loved playing for audiences as well as his own pleasure. He worked in the entertainment industry as a DJ. Jeffrey is survived by his mother Peggy Hodges Head, brothers Christopher (Amy) Head, Columbus. Ga., Justin (Larrolyn) Head, Mesquite, and Nicholas Head, Dallas; sister Megan (Jeff) Freeman, Dallas; nieces Aliya and Arianna Head, and Piper Freeman; nephews Gareth Head, Parker, and Porter Freeman. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles L. Head, long-time teacher at Hillcrest High School, and infant sister Tara Brynn Head. Jeffrey is now at peace.
