Elbert Denis Helm, age 88, of Plano, Texas, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020. He was born January 12, 1932, in Fort Worth, Texas, to parents Ruth Mae and Elbert Dubois Helm. He is survived by his wife, Carol Headlee Helm, daughters Melinda Kaye Helm of Fort Worth, Karen Leigh Turner and husband, Loyd Turner of Lubbock, Texas, and son Mark Vincent Held of Bedford, Texas. Also, two grandchildren, Christen Kaye Turner and Travis Daniel Turner, three adult step-children and five step-grandchildren, and one great grandchild, Samson Shacklett.
