Carole Jo Stephens Herdegen passed away on June 21, 2018 in Frisco, Texas. She was born June 4, 1932 in Decatur, Michigan to the late Laurence and Harriett Lage. Carole graduated from University High School in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She married Richard Stephens and they were married for 47 years. Carole was a life member of Prudence Nobles Order of the Eastern Star in Hickory Corners, Michigan and a member of First Baptist Church of Raymondville, Texas. Carole and Richard were owner operators of Richland Roller Arena for 15 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard and two sons, Lester Stephens and Darrell Stephens. Carole retired to Raymondville, Texas in 1998 where she met and married Earl Herdegen in 2002. He also preceded her in death. Carole is survived by one son, Ralph Stephens of Saranac, Michigan and one daughter, Barbara Webster of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Rebecca Stephens, Carlos and Kelly Sanchez, Chelsea and Scott Lyerly; and 9 great-grandchildren.
