Obituary

Carlos Hernandez was born December 6, 1971 in Weehawken, New Jersey to the late Jesus Hernandez and Maria Pila Hernandez. He passed away on June 30, 2018 in Princeton, Texas at the age of 46 years. Carlos grew up in Union City, New Jersey raised with his brother George Hernandez, two stepbrothers, and a half-brother, Emmanuel Hernandez. He graduated from Emerson High School, and served proudly in the United States Air Force. He worked in Logistics afterwards for the next 20 years of his life. He attended Collin College and the University of North Texas. He was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society while at Collin College. He had the honor of attending the UNT Summer Research Experience hosted by the National Science Foundation as an Anthropology major. He was also an active member at St Jude Catholic Church in Allen, Texas. Carlos was a devoted father, husband, and friend. He enjoyed reading, friendly banter and debate, spending time with his family, and playing his clarinet. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Maria Hernandez. Carlos will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 16 years, Jennifer, and their son, Spencer. Carlos will also be fondly remembered by his brother, George (Beth), in-laws Joseph and Alexis Mauriello, sister-in-law Jeanine Boroski (Chad), brother-in-law Joseph Mauriello (Marci), nieces, nephews, cousins, along with extended family and friends. A service will be held Monday, July 9, 2018 at ARIA Memorial Chapel with visitation beginning at 10:30 A.M. and service to follow at 11:30 AM. Military committal with honors will be conducted at 1:30 PM at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
