Nita Carol Hicks (Nifty Nita), 66, of Addison Texas, passed away on Sunday October 27th, in Plano Texas. She was born in Greensburg, Indiana on September 13th, 1947, the loving daughter of Lloyd and Vivian Kanouse; Nita graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design and received a degree in Interior Designing. Nita was an interior designer, accomplished quilter and a dedicated grandmother. She was survived by three daughters: Amy Hicks from Clearwater Florida; Melisa McCaffrey from Addison Texas; and Jennifer Robertson from Dallas Texas. Nita also had one grandchild Tristin. Her creativity, sense of humor and loving nature will be missed by all. Arrangements in Indiana will be handled by Freeman Family Funeral Home.
