Devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and dear friend to many, Kathryn Ann Hines-Berns, went to be with her Lord and Savior, at 2:17 a.m., Monday, May 11, 2015, surrounded by loving family, after a valiant and courageous fight to overcome a failing liver. Born April 15, 1956, to Norman and Joan Hines, Kathy was a lifelong resident of Dallas. Her father still brags, she was the most beautiful baby, he's ever seen. She graduated from Highland Park High School in 1974, and attended Southern Methodist University (IT), and Dallas County Community Colleges (Associate Degree for Health Sciences). Her passion for learning never stopped, she was even still attending classes for health care services up until just a couple of months ago. Whatever the subject, academics was easy for her; she had a brilliant mind in addition to her loving, gentle heart and soul she shared with everyone that let her. A gifted Entrepreneur, Kathy launched "Legal Eagles Network", a successful legal recruiting firm, she owned and operated for ten (10) years (80's). She was also the creator, and brainchild for "CelebrityURadio/TV Show" in Dallas, which she launched, produced, and hosted from April, 2010 to 2012. Broadcasted every Thursday from 2-4 p.m., at: http://live.celebrityuradio.tv/ for an eclectic mix of fun and relevant topics with great co-hosts and guests. www.celebrityuradio.tv . Kathy was also very creative and artistic. Whether she was sculpting or performing original material at comedy clubs, she gave it 100%; job well done, Kathy. We are so proud of you. Kathy loved God's people, her family, friends, and her animals, so much. She would give wonderful advice, but only if you asked for it. Her words were full of wisdom and inspiration. Kathy was so funny, and would put a smile on everyone's face she talked to. Kathy never said a bad word about anyone; always so positive and optimistic, even when her little body started to turn against her, her amazing courage shown brighter than ever she never gave up the fight. The family would like to thank those, angels in blue, who cared for Kathy around the clock, in her final days at William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital, in ICU. Besides all the loving friends, and best friend, Dorcus Sulek, Kathy left behind, she will be greatly missed by the family members, she is survived by: Her husband of 31 years, Jeffrey Berns, her father, Norman P.
