Joe Tsuyoshi Horito, age 91, passed away on May 9, 2015. Joe was born on May 17, 1923 in Compton, California and lived most of his life in Southern California. He is survived by his daughters; Carol (Jud) Robert, of Laguna Beach, CA, JoAnn (Steve) Prindle, of Plano, TX, and Linda (Max) Jones, of Davidson, NC. He was the grandfather of 4 and great grandfather of 5. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Mary, and his great grandson, Carter Brown. Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, June 12 at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First Street, Los Angeles, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Batson Children's Cancer Center, Office of Development, 2500 N. State Street, Jackson, MS 39216 in memory of Joe Horito as a tribute to great grandson Carter Brown (3/31/08 to 6/24/14).
