I remember the smell of scrambled eggs, freshly-sliced tomatoes, and homemade biscuits in the oven, but Im only one square in the beautiful quilt that was woven by the rich and full life of Sandra Mae Madding Horton. Sandy was born on November 13, 1942 in Brownfield, TX to Hazel Lee Fuller and Orville Norman (Jack) Madding. Sandy spent her days taking care of her family and spreading love and joy to those who were blessed to have known her. She was a pillar of strength, wisdom, compassion and love. Some days, she was a pillar of salt, but it was these days where our hearts grew to love her the most. She was a true fighter and one of the strongest women I have ever known. Sandy is survived by her daughter Vicki Sue Dolloff of Garland, Texas; her son, Gary Lynn Dolloff of Odessa, Texas; her granddaughter, Heather Victoria Dolloff of Odessa, Texas; her siblings, Joice Green of Garland, Texas; Jimmy Madding of Anna, Texas; Patricia Pierce of Austin, Texas; Charlotte Chadwick of La Mesa, California; numerous nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.
