Obituary

David Wayne Isaacs, 64, went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2015, in Sherman, TX, after a lengthy battle with MS. He was surround by his loving family in the hours leading up to his passing. David was born to Arvil and Marie Isaacs on December 15, 1951, in Galveston, TX. He married Ann Blankenship in October of 1973. After graduating from Sherman High School in 1969, David worked at Isaacs Mobile Homes. He later went on to work in IT for Alan Richie, Inc.,for many years. David loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and extend family. He also loved his cat, Miles, The Andy Griffith Show (the black & white episodes, not the color episodes, after Barney left), Gunsmoke, fishing, playing poker, being involved in Alcoholics Anonymous, and drinking Dr. Pepper. David is survived in death by his mother Marie Isaacs of Sherman, TX; son John Isaacs and daughter-in-law Nichole Isaacs, both of Sherman TX; son Dustin Isaacs of Dallas, TX; son Brad Isaacs of Denton, TX; grandchildren Lyndee Woodall of Van Alstyne, TX; Brooklyn Isaacs of Denton, TX; and Preston Isaacs of Sherman,TX; sister Nancy Foster and brother-in-law Rick Foster of Sherman, TX; sister Lou Ann Smithson and brother-in-law Allen Smithson of Luella, TX; sister Melesa Stewart and brother-in-law Michael Stewart of Sherman, TX; and 12 loving nieces and nephews, as well as their children and many other family and friends whom he loved very much. David Wayne Isaacs was preceded in death by his father Arvil Isaacs of Sherman, TX, and aunt Dorothy Husley of Sherman, TX. Davids family will receive friends and family at Western Heights Church of Christ in Sherman, TX on Friday, February, 13, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The family would like to thank Texoma Health Care and Guardian Home Hospice for taking such good care of David.
