Bonnie L. Ivie nee Meyer, longtime resident of Ponca City, OK passed away on Feb 1st, in Allen, TX due to complications arising from cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert G. "Gene" Ivie of Ponca City and sister, Betty Morris of Duncan, OK. She is survived by three siblings; Leroy Meyer of Manford, OK; Robert Meyer of Liberty, MO; and Joyce Gillock of McAllen, TX. She is also survived by two sons; Randall Ivie of Spokane, MO and Martin Ivie of Allen, TX; and four grandchildren; Capt. Jacob Ivie of Edmond, OK; Tiffany Ortham of Spokane, MO; Joanna Ivie of Spokane, MO; and Erin Ivie of Allen, TX. In addition she is survived by 7 great-grandchildren. She was a loving mother and devoted wife. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society will be appreciated.
