Jacques was born on 7/20/1960 in Dallas, TX, and lived in the Metroplex his entire life. He attended Hyer Elementary and graduated from high school at Notre Dame Vocational in Irving, TX. When his beloved mother, Irene, passed away in 2009, he moved in with his brother William and sister-in-law Holly. Upon moving to Flower Mound, TX Jacques joined Day Stay, an adult dayhab facility which later became Special Abilities of North Texas (SANT). For 12 years Jacques enjoyed the friendships, field trips and daily activities provided by the staff and his friends at SANT. In 2015 Jacques became an uncle to Abby and Trip who consistently trespassed in his Fortress of Solitude. After beating cancer twice, Jacques moved to a group home in Stephenville, TX called Rock House, where he made many new friends. In the summer of 2024, he moved to Lake Village Nursing in Lewisville, TX as cancer had returned.

Jacques had an impressive knowledge of planes, trains and automobiles as well as music and knowing if any celebrity had died yet. He got great joy from his massive collection of movie DVDs, diecast cars, and hats of all kinds. He loved America, the military, the Lone Ranger, Batman, Walker Texas Ranger, John Wayne and Jesus, but most of all he loved people (especially Chef Boy-Ar-Dee), and hats.

Jacques is in Heaven now leaving behind his brother William Vehon Jr. who cared for Jacques his entire life and from whom Jacques received his stability in life. He is also survived by William's wife Holly Frey Vehon who became his second mom, niece and nephew Abby and Trip Vehon, the Frey family, and many other friends and relatives. Jacques was preceded in death by parents Irene Francis Vehon and William Burrier, stepfather William Vehon Sr., and brother W. Fred Vehon.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday August 9, 2024 at RockPointe Church, Parker Square Campus, 500 Parker Square Rd, Flower Mound, TX 75028. A light luncheon will be served immediately after the service.
