James Michael Pierce October 7, 1949 - January 6, 2024 James Michael Pierce passed away on January 6, 2024 in Irving, Texas with his wife of 38 years, Joyce, by his side. Born in Sherman, Texas on October 7, 1949 to William Clarkson Pierce and Regina Ann Pierce (Hollas). In 1972, he met Georgeann Eller and had two sons (Adam and Michael). In 1985, he met the love of life Joyce Vollan and they married October 3 in Irving, Texas and resided in Irving, Texas until his death. James is preceded in death by his parents, William and Regina; sister Mary Jean (Jeanne) Gardner (Pierce); and brother William (Bill) Clarkson Pierce. He is survived by his two sons: Adam Pierce; Micheal Pierce; step-children: Wayne Gillig (Kimberly); Gwen Jarrell (Ricky); Darin Gillig; grandchildren: Mason and Saryn Pierce; Amber Gillig (TJ); great grandchildren: Sariah and Logan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
