Dr. James "Jim" Watters passed away February 16, 2023 at the age of eighty-three. Jim was born February 12, 1940 in San Diego, CA. He proudly served as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy. He graduated from Baylor University College of Dentistry in 1965 and practiced in Richardson, TX for over 40 years. Jim is survived by his sons, Chris and Jeff Watters; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Atkinson-Watters; brother, Michael Watters; sisters, Jill Wimberly and Kim Hoffman; and multiple grandchildren. Jim is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Mundy Watters; his youngest son, Andrew "Andy" Watters; and his parents Daniel and Jeanette Watters. Jim's funeral service will be held at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Grand Prairie, Texas on Thursday February 23, 2023 followed by a private gathering of close family and friends
