Jane McCasland Clement passed peacefully on July 9, 2026. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Jerry Lee Clement. Born on November 8, 1941, in Wichita Falls, Texas, Jane later made Dallas her home after marrying Jerry.

A devoted member of Highland Park United Methodist Church and its First Light class, Jane found joy in community and connection. Her vibrant social spirit led her to participate in many organizations, including Dallas Southern Memorial and Architect Wives, where she served in nearly every office over the years.

Jane’s love of antiques blossomed into a business, Jane’s Antiques, which grew to three locations at its height. She was a caring mother, grandmother, great‑grandmother, and friend, known for her quick wit and her deep affection for showtunes. No matter the conversation, Jane could always be counted on to break into a perfectly chosen song from her extensive musical repertoire.

Jane is survived by her daughter, Marilee Clement Benson, and her husband, Jim; her son, John Clement, and his wife, Lisa; grandchildren Lee Clement, Madison Clement, Dan Benson, Valerie Benson and her spouse Rae Benson, Michael Benson and his wife, Sanjeebani Poudel, great‑grandchildren Nolan and Naya.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026, in the sanctuary of Highland Park United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highland Park United Methodist Church.
