On March 29th, 2023, Janice Ann Philpott passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 73 years old. Diagnosed with terminal renal cell carcinoma eighteen years ago, Janice never stopped fighting. When anyone else would have broken, she stayed strong, as she did navigating any and all of life's challenges. Born Janice Ann Cosgrove in Dallas, Texas, to her adoring parents, Pat and Fay Cosgrove, she was the big sister to three loving siblings, with whom she was extremely close. Janice took great pride in being a Dallasite her entire life and raising her daughters in Dallas. Janice had an incredible career in human resources, where she made life-long friends. She was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind not only beautiful memories but a legacy of love and laughter. Janice is survived by her husband, George Philpott. She is also survived by her daughter, Kelly Lombardi and husband, Joe; daughter Leslie Cook Ramirez; and three grandsons, Adam, Nick and Ryan, who adored her and lovingly referred to her as their "Mimi". Janice leaves behind her adoring mother Fay Cosgrove, beloved sister Carol Johnson and husband Tim; brothers Mike Cosgrove and Tony Cosgrove; a host of close family; and treasured friends. Recently preceded in death is her father Patrick Calvin Cosgrove, who she loved and adored. Graveside services will be held 2:00pm on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 7405 W.
