Jean Elizabeth
Jordan
Oct 18, 1934 — May 16, 2025
Jean Elizabeth Jordan was born on October 18, 1934, and passed away on May 16, 2025, in Denton, Texas. She just had a wonderful Mother's Day and had her hair done on the day she passed in typical Jean style. She was 90 years young.
Jean's career began as a model for Neiman Marcus, where she graced the fashion scene with her sharp sense of style. She continued to work at several prestigious women's clothiers in Dallas, sharing her passion for clothes and jewelry with others. In her later years, she worked as a nanny for a family friend's two little boys, where she continued to make a significant impact with her kindness and care.
A proud member of Northaven United Methodist Church in Dallas, Jean was actively involved in her church community, volunteering for years after her retirement. Her commitment to her faith and community was evident through her service and participation in church activities.
Jean's hobbies and interests painted the picture of a woman who cherished life and its simple pleasures. She loved spending time with her family, indulging in shopping, watching the Dallas Cowboys, enjoying anything chocolate, and taking care of her beloved dog, Bentley.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Laurie (Clark) Pollock; son, Trey Jordan; and granddaughter, Savannah Youngblood. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Grace, and her brothers, Warren, Wallace, and Jerry Grace.
Jean will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her love for fashion, and her sense of humor. Her legacy will continue to live on through her family, friends, caregivers, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
