Jeanne S. Havel (88), a former resident of Framingham, MA, passed away in Dallas, Texas, on March 11, 2024. Born in Bunker, MO (Reynolds County) on June 13, 1935, to Mary Anne (Brady) Sullivan of Cavan, Ireland, and James O. Sullivan, she was the fourth child of six in a family that divided its time between their farm on Bee Fork and St. Louis. After graduating from Bunker High School in 1952 and working for the federal government, she met her husband, Peter J. Havel, in St. Louis. Wed at the Lafayette Park Baptist Church in 1962, they were married until his passing in 2012. After relocating to New York City for a brief time following their marriage, Jeanne and her family lived in Framingham, MA, as well as Millis, MA, where she was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking for friends, family, and church gatherings where her seven-bean salad, lasagna, meatballs, and miniature cheesecakes were always enjoyed. As a member of the Saxonville Baptist and Chapel of the Cross Churches, she found joy in supporting various causes, including the missionary ministries of the Gorenflo family in Indonesia and the Templehoff family in South Africa. She was known for her generous support of people in her community and veteran causes. She relocated to Frisco, TX, in 2011 to be near two of her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, her brother William (Bill) Sullivan, and sister Susan Mintle. She leaves daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter Anne, Keith, and Brianna Kirkman (Dallas, TX), son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter Peter, Janie, and Reagan Havel (Dallas, TX), and her daughter, son-in-law, and grandson Mary, Steve, and Connor Altman.
