John Raymond Jeffcoat, 46, of Irving, Texas, passed away at his home on Friday, December 20, 2013, after a courageous struggle with cancer. He was born May 28, 1967, in Irving, Texas, the son of Ruth Jeffcoat and Raymond Jeffcoat. John graduated from Irving High School, in Irving, Texas, with the class of 1985. He was employed by Darr Equipment Company. John is survived by his mother, Ruth Jeffcoat of Irving, his father, Raymond Jeffcoat of Irving, his sister, Marvel Jeffcoat, and her fianc, Dan Kessler of Fort Worth, his aunt, Marvel May of Wichita, Kansas, and other relatives and friends. The family is grateful for the compassionate care from Tom Parks, who took care of him during his illness. John will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor and caring sense for others. The service will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Luke Catholic Church, 202 South MacArthur Blvd, Irving, Texas 75060. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service and restaurant reception following.
