Jeffrey Burt
Wigley
May 24, 1971 — Dec 13, 2025
JEFFREY BURT WIGLEY
Jeff was born May 24, 1971, in Naples, Italy, and passed away December 13, 2025, in Dallas, TX, where he grew up. He graduated from the Talented & Gifted Magnet High School in DISD in 1989. He became a hard-core Baylor Bear and graduated from Baylor in 1993. Most of his career was in medical information technology.
Jeff was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Dallas, then joined Casa View Baptist Church in Garland, serving as a deacon, a Bible Study teacher, choir member, and a sound technician.
Jeff was passionate about reading, traveling, and music. He had a gift for languages, learning Irish, then teaching an Irish class. He was the best resource when working on a crossword puzzle! He loved games of all sorts. He spent many happy days with his Ingress friends traveling all over the Metroplex. He had many friends from all his experiences, especially the hours spent at Intrinsic playing games and visiting. He loved all animals, but especially his Australian Blue Heelers, Angus, Sydney, and Uluru. How he loved those dogs!
Jeff is predeceased by his brother, Devin Adams Wigley of Dallas; grandparents, Albert & Bonibel Wigley of Brownwood, TX and Dean & Billie Adams of Richland Springs, TX; his uncle David Wigley of Crosbyton, TX and his aunt Mary Katherine Adams of Richland Springs. His survivors include his parents Don & Donna Wigley of Dallas; his sister and brother-in-law Manda and Fred Salinas of Ocean Springs, MS; his niece Maisie Salinas and his nephew Ryker Salinas and his great-nephew Adrian Jenkins Salinas all of MS; his uncle and aunt Dean, Jr. & Judy Adams of New Braunfels, TX, and his aunt Janie Wigley of Allen, TX; his cousins Shaye Adams Sanchez and Dean Adams III of Texas; plus many other relatives and scads of dear friends. Uluru misses him so very much, as do we all, but we take great comfort in the assurance that Jeff is with Jesus in Heaven, where we shall see him again one day. God is faithful; He is sovereign.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Casa View Baptist Church, the American Lung Association, or an animal rescue group.
