John Frederick Muelschen, age 69, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. Born May 15, 1954, John grew up in Irving and made his home in Grand Prairie. John attended West Texas State University and Texas Lutheran College. He worked for FEDEX for many years before retiring. John was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Arlington, Texas and was a lifelong avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. His survivors include his sisters Mary Alyce Buckner and Janet Muelschen; nieces Monica Beamer and Tracie Halsema; his nephew Andrew Buckner and great nieces and nephews Brendan Beamer, Cameron Beamer, Sarah Beamer, Alex Buckner, and Anna Buckner. John is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Jean Muelschen and his sister Margaret Cleo Boze. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Grace Lutheran Church, 210 W. Park Row Dr., Arlington, Texas 76010.
