John Wayne Vasquez was born March 12th, 1969 in Roswell, New Mexico to Juanita Mary Teter. He began his eternal journey to be with the Lord on March 5th 2018, a week short of being 49. Some of Johnny' s fondest memories were of him growing up in New Mexico with his brothers and cousins. He grew to be a man of many talents-wonderful artist, excellent craftsman. He was so proud of the jewelry boxes he created. Johnny loved music of all kinds, always singing along to his favorite songs while driving his beloved truck. The greatest ability he had was PERHAPS his signature word) was to make others smile whether it be with a joke, a loving insult or a crazy picture he had taken of himself. Johnny could do that even when you didn't feel like it so when his memory comes to you surely it will leave a smile on your face and in your heart. The friends he made early in life remained his friends until his last day. He was proceeded in death by his step father Wayne Teter in 2013 and his nephews Michael Galvan and Nero Alonzo. Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved mother Juanita Teter of Houston, father Jimmy Galvan of Hobbs, New Mexico, his children John Martin Vasquez of Iowa Park, David Natori of Ft. Worth and Marina Trujillo of Colorado. 7 grandchildren, 10 siblings, Jimmy "Buggy" Galvan Jr of Roswell, New Mexico, Joseph Galvan of Hagerman, New Mexico, Jerry Galvan of Seminole, Texas, Angela Vasquez, Pedro Loya of Roswell, New Mexico, Evasanikki Loya of Dallas, Richard Loya of Dallas, Crystal Loya of Dallas, Jerad Loya of Ft.
