Gerald Charles Joiner of Irving, Texas passed away on January 21, 2013. He is survived by children Adam & Monica Joiner; grandchild, Jordyn Liddell; father, Ellison Joiner; sisters, Deirdri, Giselle, and Segrid; brothers, Ellison and Jerome; nieces/nephews, Florence, Dorcus, Sheena, Kim, and Allison, Ellison, Dominique, and Charles. Gerald worked as Unit secretary at Medical Center of Arlington and was heavily involved at Emeritus Independent Living Home community where he resided. He was a proud member of the Rotary Club. His hobbies and interests were keeping up with sports, surfing the web and playing computer games, and volunteering. A public viewing will be held on Saturday, January 25 beginning at 1:00 PM with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2:00 PM at the Aria Irving Chapel.
