Julianne
Jackson
Jan 16, 1935 — May 26, 2025
Julianne Jackson passed away peacefully at home in
Little Elm, Texas on the early morning of May 26, 2025.
Born on January 16, 1935, in Shreveport, Louisiana,
Julianne moved to Montgomery, Louisiana in 1949, were
she met her husband of sixty-five wonderful years, Bobby
Ray Jackson. She raised two children while Bobby served
four years in the United States Air Force and continued to
live in Montgomery. Her husband, after serving four
years, came home and attended four years at
Northwestern State College in Natchitoches, LA. Later,
after running a small home improvement business in
Shreveport for several years, they set sail for the big city
of Dallas, Texas to pursue bigger opportunities in the
home improvement business. Julianne worked alongside
Bobby, running the office in the business. After a few
years of being in Dallas, their daughter, Theresa, found
Valley View Christian Church. They started attending
Valley View in 1972 and once again found their true
home, faithfully serving the Lord there for 53 years.
Julianne started cooking the Thanksgiving dinners for
many years at Valley View and she loved sharing her
good home cooked Louisiana-style cooking with the
people she loved. She was a dedicated and faithful wife to
her husband for sixty-five years. She deeply loved her
church, her family, and her friends and they all touched a
special place in her heart. Julianne's children,
grandchildren, and great-grandchildren meant the world
to her.
Julianne lived a long and prosperous life to the age
of over ninety years old and she never complained one
bit. We all love you so much and we hope you're resting
easy back in the love of your life's arms.
Julianne is survived by two children: Therese Renee
Jackson and Bobby Ross Jackson, three grandchildren:
Russell Wood, Shawn Jackson, and Michelle Wood
Piscopo, and three great grandchildren: Ty Jackson,
Michael Wood, and Natalie Wood.
