Karolyn Joyce Webster

Karolyn Joyce Webster passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 7, 2026. Karolyn was born in May 9, 1933 at Hollywood Hospital in Los Angeles, California to Dr. Frank J. Matuskey and Iola (Jackie) Matuskey. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, George L. Matuskey.

Karolyn grew up in the Los Angeles area, and moved to Texas with her husband, William I. Webster in 1974, first to Houston, and then to Dallas in 1977.

In Dallas, Karolyn was active in many civic and volunteer organizations. Her greatest interest was travel- she was always planning her next "big trip". She enjoyed special trips with her grandchildren, and educational trips with friends. It's a joy to read her travel diaries and look at her scrapbooks.

Karolyn is survived by her children, Kathy and Mark, and 5 grandchildren and one great grandson.

A memorial service is planned for June 15, 2026, at 10:30 in the Wesley Chapel at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church, 9200 Inwood Road, Dallas.
