Kathleen Elizabeth Cunningham (KC/Kat/Kathy) left this earth on Saturday, April 18, 2026, after a brief illness. Kathy was born on November 6, 1956, in Germany during her father's service to the U.S. Army. Following graduation from Eastern Kentucky University Kathy began employment with T.G.I.F.(Friday's) During her 40+ years of employment with Friday's K.C. served in many capacities. She retired from in 2022 from Friday's Human Resources/Legal Department. It was during these years that Kathy made Plano, Texas home.

Kathy is survived by Sheree, LeeAnn, Sarah, and Martin James (Jay) Cunningham, KY. Michale, Rita Ann, Meg, Ayvin, and Anna Cunningham, KY, George and Barbara Lora, and Myles Thoroughgood, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lou Lora; parents, Col. Martin J Cunningham and Ann G Cunningham, beloved brother, Martin J Cunningham (Marty), Cousin James Michale Cunningham (Jimmy), and great nephew Tevin Lemke.

K.C. leaves behind many friends in so many places. If walls could speak. Know she valued each of you.

Family will privately celebrate Kathy's life in KY. Celebrations in the Dallas/Plano area are incomplete but will be posted here in the condolence area.

To know Kathy was to love her. She had few casual friends; those she knew she held close and valued individually. She would ask only that all remember the life and times shared and smile. We will remember her in places large and small. In our hearts she smiles and is at peace.
