Keaton
Brooks
Feb 27, 2008 — Feb 15, 2025
With heavy hearts, the Brooks family shares the passing of their 16-year-old son and brother, Keaton Brooks, on February 15th, 2025. Keaton loved music, movies, food, and history. He was clever and funny, and he fiercely loved his family, his best dogs, Spider, Bingo, and Crockett, his friends, and his beloved girlfriend, Maci.
In his too short life, Keaton faced and overcame many challenges, demonstrating incredible strength. With the support of his family, he recently had the best year of his life, holding his first job, making great friends, and having a happy year at Highland Park High School. Throughout it all, he never lost his beautiful smile, his sharp wit, or the sparkle in his blue eyes. While his struggles continued, his family was proud of him for his hard work and effort to get better.
Keaton is survived by a family who deeply loved him, his parents Jeff and Alaina, his sister Farren, his grandparents Jayne Harrington and Byron and Rose Brooks, his uncles Chris and Jason, and his aunts April and Tonya.
A celebration of Keaton's life will be held on Tuesday, February 25th at 3:00 p.m. at Highland Park United Methodist Church, 3300 Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, Texas 75205.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to La Fiesta de las Seis Banderas (lafiestaparkcities.com) in honor of Keaton Brooks. All donations will be earmarked for mental health programs.
