Helen Louise Keeton born February 19, 1960, in Dallas Texas, passed away January 26, 2018, in Plano, Texas. She was 57. Helen grew up in Garland, Texas, raised with her brothers, Marvin Jr. and John, and sister, Traci. She graduated in 1978 from South Garland High School. She worked many years in child care and health care, and was working at Las Colinas OBGYN at the time of her death. Helen especially enjoyed cooking, reading, spending time with her grandson, and volunteering many years with youth soccer programs and charity golf tournaments. Most recently she had focused on charity benefits for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and Alzheimer's Disease. Helen had an infectious smile, was a second "mom" to many, knew no stranger, and always put others' needs before her own. She had a kind, gentle soul and treasured time spent with her family and friends. Helen is survived by her husband, Arthur Ray Keeton; son, Christopher Michael Keeton and wife Michelle; grandson, Tyler Keeton; parents, Marvin Vale Riggall and Mary Helen Riggall; brother, Marvin Riggall, Jr. and wife Laura; sister, Traci Warren; and brother, John Riggall and wife Carroll. A Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, February 6th, 6:00 pm, at Aria Memorial Chapel, 19310 Preston Road, in Dallas, TX 75252. Because her mother suffered from Alzheimer's disease, Helen passionately supported finding a cure.
