Kelley Haley, age 67, passed away on September 23, 2025, in Vernon, Texas.

Kelley was born Kelley Dea Meler to Jim and Virginia Meler on November 2, 1957, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Kelley grew up in Texas and settled in Irving, Texas. She spent most of her life there until recently moving to Vernon, Texas, where she enjoyed her childhood on the ranch with her family and grandparents.

Kelley married David Haley in December 1982. Kelley was the proud mother of Devin and the grandmother of Allison. She enjoyed spending her time with them and her parents, as well as learning about Civil War history.

Kelley is preceded in death by her father, Jim Meler. She is survived by her mother, Virginia; her brother, JD; her daughter, Devin; and her granddaughter, Allison. She will be missed by her extended family, including David, Kate, Sydney, Emory, and her friends.
