Kelsey Grace Neuzil passed on to her eternal home on July 14, 2025, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was 30 years old.
Kelsey was born on May 5, 1995, in Plano, Texas to Carl and Darci Neuzil. She graduated from Plano West High School in 2014 and entered nursing school where she could pursue her passion for helping others. Kelsey's path included some great difficulties, but her incredible ability to see the good in any situation helped to carry her forward – including through two double lung transplants.
Kelsey was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on earth was marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Kelsey had a profound impact on those lucky enough to know her, and her passing leaves a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more.
Those who knew Kelsey will always remember her infectious smile, quick wit, endless laughter, her deep-rooted faith in Jesus, and her unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone she encountered. She had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.
Kelsey is predeceased by her father, Carl Neuzil, and grandparents, Curtis Lindell and Paul and JoAnne Neuzil.
Kelsey is survived by her mother, Darci Neuzil, siblings, Keaton and Carley, grandmother, Jean Lindell, many adoring aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, lifelong friend Maghen Bradley, and her beloved dogs, James and Tango.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Baylor Center for Advanced Heart and Lung Disease for their loving, compassionate and dedicated care.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Plano, Texas 3:00 PM.
Kelsey was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. Her brave, beautiful soul will continue to inspire and uplift us. May her memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth her legacy of love and compassion in all that we do.
