Kenneth Carter Anderson "Ken", born March 9, 1942, in Dallas, Texas to William Virgil Anderson and Helen Lillian Carter, went to be with the Lord on October 8, 2022, in Rockwall, Texas at the age of 80 years. Ken grew up in Mission, Texas with his sister, Barbara. After graduating from LaJoya High School, he served our country in the US Air Force for 4 years. Ken also worked for Texas Instruments, a career that would span over 30 years. He loved spending time at home with his wife Janell; was a devoted "Dallas Cowboys" fan, loved Car Racing, the Mavericks, but most importantly Ken and Janell were season ticket holders for the Dallas Stars for over 25 years, never missing a home game. He was a Christian man that attended Lake Shore Church. Not only was Ken a loving husband, but he was a kind friend to many. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Barbara Simon and nephew Doug Simon. Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Janell; nephew Mike Simon and nieces Penny Heim and Sherri Canales who referred to Ken as the "Cool Uncle"; many extended family members and a host of friends. A graveside service will be held at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211) on November 18, 2022, at 1:00 pm. A come and go gathering will be held on November 19, 2022, from 1-3pm at the family home.
