Janice was born in Dallas, TX on July 6, 1955 and passed away in Cedar Hill on April 18, 2015. She grew up in Oak Cliff and attended Tyler Street Methodist Church. She had a Masters in music from North Texas, and taught music and orchestra at DeSoto, Dallas and Waxahachie School districts during her career. She currently taught orchestra at Carter High. She has also been a choir director for many churches. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 2-4 pm at Tyler Street United Methodist Church 927 W 10th St, Dallas, TX 75208.
