Surrounded by her children, Carol J. Koziol, 79, of Scottsdale, AZ, returned to her heavenly home on March 22, 2015. Born December 8, 1935, in Dubuque, Iowa, Carol resided in Sioux City, Chicago and Hinsdale, Illinois where she raised three children and worked for the Veteran's Administration, Eastern Airlines and UPS. Carol and now deceased husband, Edward J. Koziol, retired in Scottsdale, Arizona where Carol was an active member of Scottsdale Women's Club and St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church. Carol's generous spirit and sense of humor will be missed by many lifelong friends and the extended Koziol and Kleeman families. A beloved mother and "Gram"/ "Pau Pau", Carol is survived by her children, Edward J. Jr., Vail, CO; Annette (John) Gohsman, Plano, TX; Patrica (Joe) Yau, Chicago, IL, and grandchildren, Ryan Gohsman, Jacqueline Yau, Kaigan Yau, and Kara Yau. A memorial mass will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 10 am at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church, 10755 N. 124th St., Scottsdale, AZ followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetary & Mausoleum, 1400 S. Wolf Road, Hillside, IL 60162 on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 10 am. Memorials in Carol's name may be made to St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church 10755 N. 124th St., Scottsdale, AZ.
