Richard Vincent Krane was born in Cleveland, Ohio July 20, 1940 and died peacefully July 23, 2013 in Dallas, Texas. A graduate of Ohio State University, Rich spent his career in business sales, retiring from FileNet in 1997. He continued to enjoy golf. Rich tuned naturally to others with his ready smile and friendly questions. Besides working hard, Rich valued playing with others and sharing personal time. He delighted in others' successes and rarely spoke of his own, which were many. Rich was a loving husband for 29 years to Allie (nee Roy), a tender dad to Richard Krane, Jr., Robert Krane (Laura), Julie Krane (Jad Daley), Scott Henkel (Katie), and Sarah Weitzul (Chad), and a happy Polish grandfather named Jagi to Cole, Dylan, Shani, Gracie, Ty, and Lennon. He is also survived by cousins Bill Wiecek (Judy Hamilton) and Donna Nelson. Memorial Service Saturday August 3 at 5 PM. Church of the Holy Communion, 17405 Muirfield Drive, Dallas 75287.
