Obituary

Kris Olson, born January 17, 1963, passed away during the early morning hours of July 2, 2026, with his beloved wife, Laura, by his side.

Kris was, above all else, a genuinely good man. He believed in working hard, doing the right thing, and showing up for the people he loved. Quiet by nature, he was a man of few words, but when he spoke, his words carried meaning. He had a remarkable way of knowing exactly what someone needed to hear, offering steady encouragement, wisdom, and kindness without ever asking for recognition.

He spent his life working hard and took great pride in everything he did. He was known for his love of cars, motorcycles, and music. There was always another engine to tinker with, another project to dream about, another song to sing and another road waiting to be explored. He especially loved taking simple weekend trips with Laura, creating countless memories together. Those who knew him understood that it wasn’t about grand adventures—it was about spending time with the people he loved.

Kris loved his family fiercely. His loyalty was unwavering, and his kindness left a lasting impression on nearly everyone fortunate enough to know him. If you ask those whose lives he touched, many will tell you the same thing: Kris was simply one of the good ones.

He is survived by his loving wife, Laura; his daughter, Kelly; his son, Cory; his stepdaughter, LuLu; and his best friend, Rob. He also leaves behind grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Kris’ life was not measured by accolades or attention, but by the countless everyday acts of love, loyalty, hard work, and integrity that defined who he was. His absence leaves an immeasurable void, but the lessons he taught simply by the way he lived will remain with all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
