Donald Glenn Kuntz was born in Washington, Iowa, on February 9, 1934, to Roy Wilbur and Wilma Zella Kuntz. Don graduated from Washington High School in 1952. He graduated from The University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. He married his high school sweetheart Betty Marie Fritz, a day after her high school graduation and they were happily married for 60 years. Don was the International Vice President for the 3M Company. He later started his own real estate investment and property mortgage company. Don and Betty have five children: Roger Stevens Kuntz and wife Teresa, Michael Roy Kuntz, and Lori Suzanne Kuntz and her husband Todd Bragg. They also have seven grandchildren: Joshua Kuntz and his wife Haleigh, Kristen Kuntz, Stephanie Bragg and her husband David Loy, Adam Bragg, and Olivia Bragg.
